Ty Gibson is an acclaimed international seminar speaker and passionate communicator with a message that opens minds and moves hearts. He is known for offering enlightening answers to the big questions of life. Gibson is the host of national TV programs A Closer Look and Books of the Book, as well as the author of eight books, including the recently released A God Named Desire. He is co-director of Light Bearers Ministry, an international publishing ministry that has produced and distributed more than 400 million evangelism-related publications free of charge in 35 languages all over the world.
David Asscherick is co-director of Lightbearers and co-founder of ARISE. He has spent the last 15 years traveling the globe preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the author God in Pain: Another Look at Evil, Suffering, and the Cross, which is his first book. He and his wife of 13 years, Violeta, are the happy parents of two boys, Landon and Jabel. They enjoy backpacking, climbing, running, fly fishing, and reading.
